Product description

Bitumen for road paving and asphalt applications.

Bitumen PEN 100/150 is a standard penetration grade bitumen usually used in road construction for the construction of conventional pavements built with hot asphalt. Bitumen PEN 100/150 is mainly used in asphalt plants for the continuous and discontinuous production of base mixes present in the foundation layers (road base asphalt) as in the surface layers (bituminous concrete, thin coated or draining asphalt mixes).

Bitumens PEN 100/150 is also used in plant as base for the production of Polymer Modified Bitumen, fluxed bitumen or emulsions.

Bitumen PEN 100/150 is manufactured in refinery from fractional distillation of crude oil specially selected for bitumen applications and certified by an external laboratory all along the supply chain.

As all the Penetration Grade bitumen, Bitumen PEN 100/150 is designated by its penetration range and specified by the penetration and softening point test.
